In Hindu mythology, Chitralekha was a goddess of magic and an expert artist from the Dvapara Yuga. The daughter of the minister to the demon king Banasura, she was the best friend of Princess Usha. Famous for her magical powers and artistic talents, she used her abilities to paint Lord Krishna’s grandson, Aniruddha, and magically brought him to Usha’s palace so the two lovers could unite.
